Picacho State Park is perfect for the people who love to be outdoors. With so many places to see and do. Picacho State Park is only minutes away from Yuma, AZ. You can pretty much see it from any place in Yuma Arizona just one of the purple mountains surrounding the area.  The state park has about 54 camp sites some picnic tables and some solar water showers.
With tons to explore like  Stewarts lake, Taylor Lake, Ice Cream Canyon trails, Carrizo Boat-In Camp, the Outpost, Red Rock Canyon Falls, Railroad Canyon, Picacho Mills Sites, Bear Canyon Bluff, Bear Canyon Falls, the Outpost, Carrizo Falls, the Stamp Mill Trail, Picacho Peak, Picacho Cemetery, the Children’s Cave Trail, the Nature Trail, the Callaway Trail, the Sunset Vista Trail, and Hunter’s Trail.
The river that serves as a border as well can also be a source of entertainment. You can visit  the many lakes on both sides of the river, fish in the many spots, ski or go swiming.
At Picacho Peak, you can do a little climbing, a little bit of hiking,  a little fishing or camping, the things to do here are endless!
